Menu Guide Directions and Template

  1. Identify the top foods that you want to try.
  2. Use a translate app or website to determine the key phrases for ordering.
    • Tip! Play the phrase and in parentheses write how it sounds to you!
  3. Add a glossary of key terms to look out for in menus. (If there’s an equivalent of mac & cheese, it definitely makes our list!)
    • Tip! Are there any foods you need to avoid? These will be just as important to add as the ones to try.
  4. Consider formatting (like images, bold key words, color code sections, columns) that will make it the most user-friendly for your family. Print your guide!
  5. Identify a dish to make with your kids! Pinterest fails can be just as fun as the successes. A recent arepa attempt was more of a “deconstructed” version, but was still a blast to try.
